Assigning Channel to QBO Customers

"Can you assign a channel to customers in QuickBooks?"

Had a conversation with a founder last week that went like this -

"Do you use channels as a dimension in QuickBooks?"

"No, can QuickBooks Online do that?"

"Sure can. I just wrote about it on LinkedIn this week."

"But can you assign channels to customers in QuickBooks? My bookkeeper won't know which is which."

Sadly, no - this is not a feature that is currently available in QuickBooks online.

In this case, I would recommend one of two things (both easy):

1) Making it part of your customer invoicing process to refer to a cheat sheet (on a shared drive) with all the customers and their associated channel

2) Including the channel in the Customer Display Name:
